Samantha Lee, the most loving and generous person I knew, tragically left us on May 9th 2025, at the age of 37.

Sam lived her life in a way that brought total joy and happiness to people around her. She was thoughtful, kind, and always put the needs of others before her own.

Sam was a proud University of Michigan alum, after graduating with a double bachelors degree in Psychology and Communication Studies. It was completely in keeping with Sam’s work ethic to have left college with a double degree. Fun fact; Sam was also a certified personal trainer and holistic nutritionist.

Her love for health and wellbeing extended into the way she traveled. Sam toured the world finding activities that satisfied her joy of cities, art, food, and outdoor adventures. She visited Italy to explore her passion for art history, snowboarded her way across Colorado, hiked the trail to Machu Picchu, food-toured her way across Japan, put together self-guided tours across Europe, learned to sail in Hawai’i, and (begrudgingly) went camping around Iceland.

Sam’s enthusiasm for work led her on professional adventures across advertising agencies, big brands, and exciting startups. She took a huge amount of pride in her work and always pushed herself to make sure she over-delivered in her roles.

Sam had a deep love for dogs. During the pandemic, Sam finally got to turn her dreams of having a dog into reality; she rescued Remy (see, “Kiddo”) and brought him into her life. Remy brought Sam more joy than maybe anything in this world. They were inseparable and Sam took adventures with Remy across the country. Her love of dogs extended into her charitable work with Rescue City, and we will be making a donation in Sam’s name to continue her legacy of caring for animals in need.

Sam’s loved ones were the most important thing to her; there was nothing she wouldn’t do to bring a bit of joy to someone she cared about.

With that in mind, we invite you to join us to repay Sam’s love for us all and celebrate the impact she had on us.
